We can not get enough of this place. Granted it is our go to for the best Sushi on the edge of Stockton and Lodi. This hidden Gem is tucked in the corner of the Morada shopping center and if you dont know about it, you need to! The owner JJ prides himself on serving the freshest fish and rolls the sushi himself on the weekends when we go in, so I know he still loves what he does because he is always smiling when he does it. The artistry on the plate makes your jaw drop and you almost dont want to touch it, but once that first piece touches your taste buds, its like hearing a classical symphony in your head or your favorite song. If your a foodie you will know what I am talking about. Try my favorite it is called the Incredible Roll! If you really like Sushi you'll love it. I add some Sriracha with my soy and wasabi because I like a good spicy kick, but it is good in flavor by itself. The staff are quick on their feet because it is always so busy in there. Tables are always full on Sundays. It's not a huge spot, 2 big parties and you will be waiting awhile, but site at the counter and watch JJ make the rolls, run his restaurant and you will have a new friend for Life! He is the best

like going to Toyo and it’s been one of my go to spots for sushi Stockton. Lately though , the portions especially the amount of fish have been smaller than before. The quality is still good, but it doesn’t feel like the same value it used to be. I’m hoping they go back to the portions where more fish is added, like they used to.

I love this place! The staff is always super nice...I think it's the owner (or mgr) he's so polite & helpful. The food is always great tasting. Tonite I tried the Hawaiian roll, but subbed the spicy sauce for honey sauce, was perfect. My daughter got the green dragon, loved it! No pics, we were too excited to dig in.

Toyo Sushi has fast become not only my favorite sushi spot in Stockton but one of my favorite restaurants anywhere! The sushi is fresh and delightful to the tastebuds. The one thing that AMAZES me though is the customer service. On just our second trip in they remembered that I like substituting soy wrap on any rolls that I get. Even now months later they always know what I like. It’s hard to find places like this anymore. It looks like just a hole in the wall across from Starbucks but in my opinion it doesn’t get any better for sushi in the City of Stockton.

I ordered bay bridge sushi, it's really yummie like what it looks, and the asparagus stick is crunchy. 3 items dinner for 15.99 but all from chicken. If orders with beef 18.99. The sevice is quite fast, the restaurant is not that big. It will be my go to for japanese foods. Update 4/1/2024 They raise the price, and then they still serve less meat on the order.
